New Delhi: Dr Tehemton Erach Udwadia, a renowned medical teacher, noted gastroenterologist and widely regarded as the father of laparoscopic surgery in India, on Thursday received Padma Bhushan, the country’s third highest civilian award, for his contributions to Indian medicine.
