Tamil Nadu government may bring legislation to exempt its medical colleges from NEET

SC declines relief to Jat students seeking admission to PG medical courses under OBC category

New Delhi (IANS): The Supreme Court said on Tuesday that Jat students would not get the benefit of reservation under the OBC category even if their admission process began before it quashed the government notification extending reservation to the community in nine states.

Former health minister Rasheed Masood gets four-year jail term in MBBS seat scam

New Delhi: Congress leader Rasheed Masood, a Rajya Sabha member, was on Tuesday sentenced to four years in jail by a Delhi court after he was held guilty of fraudulently nominating undeserving candidates, including his own nephew, to MBBS seats allotted to Tripura in medical colleges across the country from the central pool as health minister in the National Front government of 1990.
