Tamil Nadu government directed to introduce biometric attendance in hospitals

Madurai: The Madurai bench of the Madras High Court on Wednesday directed the Tamil Nadu government to put in place biometric attendance system for doctors in all the state government hospitals within four months.

On PMO call-drop concern, hospitals told to allow mobile towers

West Bengal to set up 10 specialized mother and child care hospitals

Kolkata: The state government has decided to set up ten specialized mother and child care hospitals over the next three years. These hospitals will be set up in Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar, Malda, Murshidabad, Birbhum, Howrah, Bankura, Purulia, Nadia and Burdwan.

Government hospitals in Bihar asked to prescribe only available drugs

Patna: The health department has directed all government hospitals, right from medical colleges to primary health centres (PHCs) across the state, to prescribe only those medicines available with them. The government plans to take action against those violating the decision with provision of lodging FIR against them.
