Supreme Court directs authorities to consider holding NEET for MBBS admission from this year itself

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the Centre, the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the CBSE to consider holding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to MBBS and BDS courses of medical and dental colleges across the country from this year itself and to come up with an exam schedule by Thursday.

Inter-ministerial committee formed to look into the demands of IMA

New Delhi: Union Health Minister J P Nadda has ordered the formation of an inter-ministerial working committee to look into the demands of the Indian Medical Association in a time-bound manner, according to a statement issued by the IMA on Friday.
