Three names selected for the post of AIIMS Delhi director

New Delhi: The Institute Body of AIIMS, headed by Union Health Minister J P Nadda, on Saturday selected three doctors of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, for the post of the institute’s director.

The selected names are Dr V K Paul, head of paediatrics; Dr Randeep Guleria, head of pulmonary medicine and sleep disorder; and Dr Balram Bhargava, professor of cardiology at AIIMS, New Delhi, reports Hindu Business Line.

The three shortlisted names will now be forwarded to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by the Prime Minister for final selection.

The current Director of AIIMS, Dr M C Misra, is slated to retire on January 31.
