Senior doctor suspended for molesting medical student

Jammu: Dr Bhupesh Khajuria, head of forensics department at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu has been suspended for molesting a final year Ladakhi medical student on December 27.

Dr Khajuria was taken into custody following the girl’s complaint. An FIR has also been registered against the accused who is under suspension, the health minister informed the Jammu & Kashmir assembly.

But the opposition, led by the leader of opposition Omar Abdullah, however, demanded termination of Dr Khajuria’s services and accused the administration of shielding him, reports ToI.
