Bengaluru: The Centre’s plan to conduct an exit exam for MBBS students has drawn flak from the Indian Medical Association (IMA). “Such a move will belittle the scope of the MBBS exam,” Dr K K Aggarwal, Secretary General, IMA, said, adding, “We will oppose the exit exam for medical graduates.”

Kidney racket probe finds three doctors negligent

Mumbai: The preliminary report of a three-member state health inquiry committee probing into the kidney racket at L H Hiranandani Hospital has reportedly found nephrologist Dr Mukesh Shete and urologists Dr Mukesh Shah and Dr Prakash Shetty “negligent”.
