Nadda appreciates introduction of BSc (Community Health) in Assam

Guwahati: Union Health Minister J P Nadda has appreciated the efforts of Assam government in introducing BSc (Community Health) for providing healthcare services in rural areas.

Reviewing the health sector of the northeastern states in a meeting held at Assam Administrative Staff College here on Saturday, Nadda appreciated each state for the achievements shown so far and urged everyone to work for betterment of the health care services.

The minister particularly appreciated the efforts of Assam in introducing BSc (Community Health) for providing healthcare services in rural areas, according to an official statement.

Health ministers and secretaries of the eight northeastern states — Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura and Sikkim participated in the review meeting.
